Corset Pattern

This was drafted from a free online underbust corset building tutorial I found years ago and have used every since. I drafted it on architectural paper using a mechanical pencil and the busk of the corset itself for a straight edge. I traced the finished edges with a blue colored pencil, then labeled the pieces. I love this pattern for its high back (adjustable according to your preferences) and excellent waist proportions. Each waist piece is about 2", evenly spaced, so when it is put together it all squeezes around you evenly. I usually use a 5.5" to 6" waist reduction with very little discomfort.
